SUMMARY:General Meeting Regarding Possible Collaboration with Indian Community
DESCRIPTION:Recently\, we were invited to a meeting by the Indian community\, who are also working on the establishment of a Hindu temple. Their vision aligns closely with ours\, and they have expressed a strong interest in collaborating with the Nepali community to pursue this shared goal. \nWhile we share a common religious foundation\, we also recognize that we have our own distinct values\, language\, and cultural traditions as Nepali. Therefore\, to explore the possibilities of a collaboration\, we would like to hold an internal meeting on 26-04-2025 with all team members. We will discuss the pros and cons of potential collaboration with the Indian community. After our internal discussion\, we would like to share the ideas in collaboration with all other Nepalese communities. \nBefore joining this meeting\, we request each team group member to hold a brief internal session to review their achievements\, challenges\, and key points to present during the main discussion. This will provide insight that will be discussed at the main meeting. \nAgenda of the meeting: \n\nPresentations from the different working teams.\nFacts about the Indian community’s initiative.\nDiscussion: Should we collaborate with the Indian community?\nWhat we need to achieve to establish the Nepali Cultural Center:\nMembership\nIncreasing active participation in Nepali programs\nAny Other Business (AOB)\n\nThis is an important opportunity for us to come together in shaping the future to preserve our culture and tradition in Denmark. DESCRIPTION:On February 22\, 2025\, we are holding a meeting with NRNA to further discuss the development of the Nepali Culture Center in Denmark. We have already achieved an important milestone by successfully registering the Nepali Culture Center and we are now focusing on a membership plan\, which is essential for advocacy with government authorities in Denmark. \nThe number of registered members plays a significant role in influencing project decisions\, particularly when applying for fundings. Since our goal is to establish a cultural center with the support of various funding sources\, a strong membership base will greatly enhance our chances of securing the necessary resources. This meeting will provide an opportunity for us to collaborate and plan on how we\, as a community\, can work together to turn this vision into reality. \nOur shared dream is to create a place\, where we can celebrate our festivals\, preserve our cultural heritage\, and provide future generations with a strong connection to their Nepali roots.
